APD arrests woman for 2020 murder of her friend's boyfriend

ALBUQUERQUE – APD detectives arrested Brianna Archuleta for the January 2020 murder of her friend’s boyfriend, Benjamin Moore. Davion Jaramillo is also charged for the murder; two others are charged for their role in taking the stolen vehicle used in the murder and setting it on fire

 

Archuleta, 24, is accused of recruiting friends to help retaliate against Moore for allegedly beating her friend and cutting off her hair. The group waited for Moore to be released from jail for a domestic violence charge. They tracked him down at the girlfriend’s home at 8200 Bridge Ave., S.W. Moore was shot several times, and died at the scene. His friend, Andrew Denas, was also shot, but he survived.

 

Archuleta (6/2/1998) is charged with and open count of murder and conspiracy to commit a capital or first degree felony.

 

Davion Jaramillo: murder, conspiracy, tampering with evidence, assault with intent to commit violent felony, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, arson, conspiracy to commit arson, receiving and transferring a stolen motor vehicle.

 

Pedro Escalante: receiving and transferring a stolen motor vehicle, tampering with evidence, conspiracy and arson conspiracy.

 

Ciera Lopez: receiving and transferring a stolen motor vehicle, tampering with evidence, conspiracy, arson conspiracy.
