May 03, 2025

ALBUQUERQUE – Today, the City of Albuquerque welcomed families from across the metro area to the third annual Multicultural Arts Festival at the Singing Arrow Community Center. This vibrant event showcased the incredible talent of our local arts community, featuring approximately 40 artists displaying and selling their work.

Attendees enjoyed a diverse array of multicultural song and dance performances, both indoors and outdoors, including mariachis, lion dancers, Celtic music, and more. The community demonstrated their appreciation for arts and heritage, with over 700 community members attending today's event.

Design entries from the winners and finalists of the youth “One Albuquerque” Art Contest were on display for the public to enjoy.

"Providing spaces for the community that highlight arts and culture is very important to me," said Community Recreation Supervisor Natasha Baca. "I hope everyone enjoyed the diverse performances and artists."

“Events like these offer a platform where artists from all backgrounds can share their work and connect with the broader community,” said Mayor Tim Keller. “The Multicultural Arts Festival reflects Albuquerque’s creative energy and cultural richness.”

"The Singing Arrow Multicultural Arts Festival gets better every year!" said District 9 City Councilor Renee Grout. "It showcases the wonderful amenity we have in the Singing Arrow Community Center, the talent of our local artists, and the hard work of our amazing Youth and Family Services staff who put on this event!"

The City of Albuquerque continues to emphasize the importance of family, culture, and creativity throughout our services. Providing community members a platform to showcase their artistry and share their unique stories is vital to the identity of our city and how we pass down our customs to future generations.
