The City of Albuquerque, Department of Family and Community Services (“Department”) hereby invites public input to proposed updates of the Social Services Contracts Procurement Rules that govern procurement of social services with the Department.

 

Copies of the draft updates of the Procurement Rules will be available November 4, 2021 through November 18, 2021, between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., at the City of Albuquerque, Department of Family and Community Services, 5th floor, Room 504, Old City Hall, One Civic Plaza, Albuquerque, NM 87102. The documents can also be accessed on the Department’s website at https://www.cabq.gov/family/partner-resources/request-for-proposals/administrative-requirements.

The Department of Municipal Development (“DMD”) hereby gives notice that DMD will conduct a public hearing on Tuesday, February 15, 2022, from 9:00am to 12:00pm on the rule described below.

Frequently Asked Questions on Automated Speed Enforcement

The purpose of this meeting is to obtain public input on the City’s proposed Regulation Governing the Issuance of Fines and Timeliness of Community Service Pursuant to the Albuquerque Automated Speed Enforcement Ordinance (“Regulation”).  The Regulation implements certain provisions of the Automated Speed Enforcement Ordinance, ROA 1994, Sections 7-15-1 to -5.  The Regulation:

  • Provides that Automated Speed Enforcement System Fines shall not be issued unless a vehicle is traveling at least five (5) miles per hour over the speed limit for sections of highways within safety zones, and at least ten (10) miles per hour over the speed limit for all other sections of highways;

 

  • Establishes a 30-day time limit by which the recipient of an ASE System Fine notice (“Notice”) must respond;

 

  • Provides that a registered owner or nominee must complete community service, if elected, within 90 days from the date of the Notice; and

 

  • Provides that if a registered owner or nominee fails to comply with the timeliness requirements of the Regulation, the registered owner is considered to be in default.

The public hearing allows members of the public an opportunity to submit testimony and arguments on the Regulation.

The purpose of this meeting is to obtain public input on the City’s proposed Emergency Rules Governing the Establishment of Cannabis Retail Businesses in the City of Albuquerque.  The Emergency Rules implement guidelines for the operation of cannabis retail business in the City.

  • Establish safety guidelines and hours of operation for cannabis retail businesses;
  • Establish procedures for obtaining Cannabis Retail Location Approvals; and
  • Establish requirements for cannabis businesses that have obtained Cannabis Retail Location Approvals.

The public hearing allows members of the public an opportunity to submit testimony and arguments on the Regulation.
