In honor of International Jaguar Day, celebrated annually on November 29, we are excited to spotlight Maya, the resident jaguar at the BioPark who turned 20 years old on October 4! Knowing the median life expectancy for her species is about 18 years, this is a fantastic milestone and she’s living proof that with quality care and the right attitude, the good times can continue well into the golden years.
