Description
Come take a break from the daily grind!
Join us for a guided practice of slow looking and artmaking. Slow looking means spending intentional time with an artwork through close observation, reflection, and conversation. Together, we’ll discover new ways of seeing and being with art. The program will include a reflective art making activity following the gallery experience.
The slow looking will take place in the exhibition The Woods Before Sunrise.
The program is led by Emma Gamelsky, a clinical social worker, psychotherapist, and artist, and Shelly Korte, an interdisciplinary artist, art educator, and community arts practitioner.
Space is limited to 15 participants. Register by October 6. Register Here.
