American Gypsum Company, LLC, 4600 Paseo del Norte, Albuquerque, NM 87109

The applicant is requesting a modification to Permit #0752-M4 to include:
Authorize an emission increase of Carbon Monoxide (CO) based on recent manufacture’s data for unit DC-11-the new vertical roller mill’s hot gas generator and baghouse. The increase in CO emissions will not violate the National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS) and NMAAQS for CO according to the Facility’s Air Quality Dispersion Modeling. The other emission rates remain the same.

The North Valley Coalition requested a Public Information Hearing (PIH) concerning the permit modification which will be held January 23, 2025 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Plaza Del Sol, 600 2^nd St. NW, Albuquerque 87102. The PIH may also be attended virtually on Zoom at the link listed in the PIH Public Notice documents below.
