Visit New Animals at the Aquarium

New gull and rays on display.

Feb. 5, 2020 - The Aquarium recently introduced some new residents.

“Bay-Gull” the laughing gull arrived to the Aquarium October 12. Bay-Gull is a rehab bird from Texas State Aquarium. Because of the injury to his wing he could not fly so was deemed not releasable. He joins another non-releasable male laughing gull named Sam. Come say hi to Bay-Gull and Sam on your next trip to the Aquarium!

The Aquarium also welcomed two new southern stingrays, which arrived in mid-November from The Living Planet Aquarium in Utah. The two female rays have disc widths of about 3 ½ to 4 feet.
