Schedule Changes & Service Improvements
Your Bus Route May Change! Starting December 13, 2025, ABQ RIDE is rolling out the first round of route improvements for the ABQ RIDE Forward Network Plan, a multi-year effort to improve and modernize transit service.
If you ride Routes 5, 8, 10, 11, 36, 53, 54, 66, or 198, your trip may look different. These updates are designed to make riding easier, with benefits such as increasing frequency and weekend service, reducing overlap for better coverage, and equitably increasing access for more community members to use public transit services.

Frequency changed to every 30 minutes / Frecuencia cambiada a cada 30 minutos
Route 5: Montgomery-Carlisle – Route 5 weekdays / entre semana
Route 8: Menaul – Route 8 weekdays / entre semana
Route 10: North 4th (between Montaño and Downtown only) – Route 10 between Montaño and Downtown only weekdays and Route 10 between Montaño and Downtown only weekends / (Solo entre la calle Montaño y el centro) – todos los días
Route 11: Lomas – Route 11 weekdays / entre semana
Route 66: Central – Route 66 weekdays, Route 66 Saturdays and Route 66 Sundays / todos los días
Route 198: 98th Street-Dennis Chavez – Route 198 all days / todos los días

Route 8: Menaul – extending west on Menaul to Rio Grande and back to downtown on Lomas and 2nd. No longer serving 5th & 6th Streets. Same route Route 8 weekdays and Route 8 weekends. / Esta ruta se extiende hacia el oeste por Menaul hasta Rio Grande y regresa al centro por Lomas y la calle 2. Route 10: North 4th – using 5th & 6th south of Lomas. All trips will go to the Montaño Transit Center. Every other trip will serve 4th Street north of Montaño. Route 10 Weekdays and Route 10 weekends / Esta ruta utilizará las calles 5 y 6 al sur de Lomas. Todos los viajes llegarán al Centro de Tránsito de Montaño. Route 54: Bridge-Westgate – new routing west of 98th. Will end at 118th & Dennis Chavez (Atrisco Heritage High School) and will not go to the CUTC.
