Alternative Resolution FAQs

How do I nominate a new driver?

Anyone can pay the citation or complete the community service on behalf of the vehicle owner without nominating a new driver. If you need to formally reassign ownership, you may submit an Owner’s Affidavit identifying the driver so that an Automated Speed Enforcement System Fine Notice may be sent to the driver. The Owner’s Affidavit must be notarized. Depending on your citation issuer, the form will vary.
