Daily Docent-Led Museum Tours (Afternoon Sessions)
Daily public group tours of the Balloon Museum will be led by our team of docents during Balloon Fiesta® week. Two sessions are offered each day at 10 am and 2 pm This activity is included with general admission to the Balloon Museum.

During daily guided tours of the Anderson Abruzzo Albuquerque International Balloon Museum, learn more about the "Albuquerque Box" and discover why Albuquerque has become one of the world’s most celebrated destinations for lighter-than-air aviation.
Walk through the Museum’s Canopy of Color exhibit and discover the stories and history of the Balloon Fiesta, which has made ballooning an integral part of the fabric of New Mexican culture.
Led by the Museum’s knowledgeable docents, these engaging tours offer a closer look at the people, artifacts, and achievements that have shaped ballooning. Go back in time to revisit the first team to ever take flight, learn about attempts to reach the North Pole, explore record-breaking adventures, and discover one-of-a-kind artifacts—including gondolas and envelopes that have set world records. Along the way, explore how balloonists around the world have pushed the boundaries of exploration and innovation in our newest exhibit, Experimental. We hope you will leave inspired to explore your own world with a renewed spirit of adventure and curiosity.
Whether you are visiting for the first time or returning to experience the Museum in a new way, docent-led tours provide opportunities to ask questions, uncover details you may have otherwise missed, and gain a deeper appreciation for the innovation, imagination, and determination that have made the sky the limit.
