Description
Casa San Ysidro is home to one of the most comprehensive collections of New Mexican art and furnishings. The property centers on an 1875 adobe home built by Jesús María Gutiérrez and later restored and expanded by Dr. Ward Alan and Shirley Minge in the mid-20th century. Using salvaged historic materials, the Minges created a romantic Territorial Period Greek Revival rancho that now showcases their collection of 18th- and 19th-century art, tools, and furnishings.
Join us to explore the museum’s history and programs, including daily tours, lectures, workshops, heritage arts classes, festivals, and year-round educational trainings.
