Learn the fundamentals of winding, warping, and weaving on a variety of table looms using wool yarn and traditional jerga and colcha patterns. Students will create sabanilla, the loosely woven wool fabric used as the foundation for colcha embroidery, while gaining hands-on experience with simple weaving techniques and traditional textile practices.
