Description
Indigo was one of the dyes used by Spanish Colonial spinners and weavers to obtain beautiful shades of blue. The dye was often sold or traded from Mexico and is one of few natural dyes that does not require a mordant. This class features the use of indigo dye. Both wool and cotton will be dyed by participants.
