City Councilor Dan Lewis represents District 5, the Northwest part of Albuquerque. He was elected to City Council in October 2009.
As Councilor, Dan Lewis intends to promote job development on the West Side of Albuquerque; develop safer neighborhoods through community awareness and service; establish healthier neighborhoods through the development of athletic fields and parks; and, consider and respond to District 5 constituents.
Dan Lewis has lived a long time on the West Side of Albuquerque and is raising his family of two children with his wife Tracy. He is a certified teacher who taught Language Arts at Cibola High School and also coached the baseball team. Councilor Lewis is also a small business owner through his Rio Grande Foam, Inc. and Rio Grande Rustics, Inc. companies.
