Call for Volunteers: Registration Open for One Albuquerque Cleanup Month-- Just In Time for Earth Day

This year’s expanded cleanup event looking for participants to get involved.

April 12, 2021

Mayor Tim Keller and and Keep Albuquerque Beautiful are calling on residents to join the new and expanded annual spring cleanup event in Albuquerque.

After a Covid-adjusted event last year, the Solid Waste Management Department (SWMD) re-envisioned the spring cleanup event to last longer and have a deeper impact on our city’s natural beauty. This year it is back and better than ever, with a slate of area-focused cleanup events that run the entire month, starting just in time for Earth Day.

Registration is now open for One Albuquerque Cleanup Month. Each quadrant of the City will have its own Saturday cleanup event starting April 24 and running through May 15.
