The Solid Waste Management Department will be temporarily relocating our Administrative Headquarters to 3401 Pan American NE while renovations are completed at our Edith Headquarters.
Solid Waste Administrative Headquarters Temporarily Moving
To support long-term operational reliability and continued service excellence, effective June 8th, 2026, City of Albuquerque's Solid Waste Management Department will temporarily transition Administrative Headquarters operations from 4600 Edith NE to 3401 Pan American Freeway NE while improvements are completed at the Edith facility.
This transition will allow for necessary facility upgrades at the Edith location while preventing service interruptions.
Trash, recycling, disposal, and field operations will not be affected by the move.
Administrative Headquarters operations will return to 4600 Edith following completion of the improvement work, helping ensure the facility continues to support employees and reliable service for years to come.
Permit Applications
Walk-in applications for commercial hauling permits through the Solid Waste Management Department will be accepted at 3401 Pan American NE. Permits can be pre-filled by downloading the form.
