Fiesta Fanatics

Our team proudly hosts this pre-Balloon Fiesta fall neighborhood cleanup initiative! Be a part of the cleanup event at Balloon Fiesta Park or host a cleanup in your neighborhood.

Fiesta Fanatics is Keep Albuquerque Beautiful's largest community cleanup event of the year. This year's event will take place at Balloon Fiesta Park on Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. Volunteers will be provided with gloves, trash bags, and grabbers for the three-hour event. After the event, there will be free snacks and beverages as well as free plants to take home courtesy of the Parks and Recreation Department.

Keep Albuquerque Beautiful has partnered with Imagine ABQ, a local non-profit organization with a similar mission of helping our City shine, starting where your feet are. While the main Fiesta Fanatics event will be held at Balloon Fiesta Park, volunteers also have the option to host a neighborhood cleanup event on the same day. Neighborhood volunteer groups will be provided with cleaning supplies during the week before the event.

Registration is open through Friday, September 18, via One ABQ Volunteers. All volunteers must complete a liability waiver and photo release form before the start of the event.
