Description
Keep Albuquerque Beautiful and Fuse Makerspace are teaming up to host our anual Spring Fixit Clinic.
Bring your broken household items and learn from our experienced coaches how they can be repaired instead of thrown away!
This is a free, all-ages event where people can learn how to assess, disassemble, and repair broken household items instead of sending them to the landfill. The acceptable items include bikes, small appliances, electronics, and sewing projects.
Not all items will be able to be fixed on site and may result in only a diagnosis. Interested participants are encouraged to bring all related items (spare tools that came with the item, spare screws, washers, etc.) in order to expedite the fix process.
We are also looking for skilled individuals who are handy and experienced in sewing, woodwork, leatherwork, electronics, small appliances, and jewelry. We invite you to register as a coach if you have any of these skills. Reigster as a coach by going to our One Albuquerque Volunteers website.
All interested participants are required to register through our online form. The deadline to register is Friday, May 8, 2025.
