Don’t toss it — fix it!
Keep Albuquerque Beautiful and Fuse Makerspace are teaming up once again for our Summer FixIt Clinic on Saturday, August 8.
Bring your broken household items and work alongside experienced volunteer coaches to learn how they can be repaired instead of thrown away. Whether it’s a bike, small appliance, simple electronic device, sewing project, or another well-loved item, our goal is to help give it a second life. Computers and software issues cannot be addressed at the clinic.
This free, all-ages event is more than a repair day—it’s a chance to build new skills, reduce waste, and keep usable items out of the landfill.
Please note: Not every item can be repaired on site, and some may result in a diagnosis only. To help our coaches, attendees are encouraged to bring all related parts and accessories (tools, chargers, screws, washers, manuals, etc.) to make the repair process smoother.
Register for the event ahead of time to make the process go faster on the day of the event. Come learn something new—and help keep Albuquerque beautiful.
Interested in helping others learn to repair? We’re also recruiting volunteer coaches with experience in sewing, woodworking, leatherwork, electronics, small appliances, jewelry repair, and general troubleshooting. Register to coach through the One Albuquerque Volunteers website.
