Description

Dr. Schmader, an Adjunct Research Professor with the University of New Mexico Department of Anthropology and longtime Research Scientist, brings decades of experience studying the rich archaeological landscapes of New Mexico. His work with the Open Space Division has helped protect and share invaluable insights into the deep histories embedded within our local lands.

During this talk, Dr. Schmader will explore themes from his published work, offering perspectives on archaeology, cultural heritage, and the significance of preserving ancestral sites. Guests will have the opportunity to engage in discussion, ask questions, and gain a deeper understanding of the stories that shape our region.

The event will conclude with a book signing, providing attendees the chance to meet Dr. Schmader and have their copies personally signed.
