Learn the basics of camping with an Open Space Educator while in the juniper-pinon forest of the East Mountains. Carolino Canyon Reservation Area offers a calm space to enjoy the morning under the canopy of this unique forest ecosystem with hands-on activities, stories shared, and provided biofacts.
Program is free, but registration is required at play.cabq.gov (Open Space → Public Programs → Family Programs → Family Nature Club)
