Description
Do you know how to ride a bike but never tried mountain biking? Are you curious to explore what it’s like riding off-road and getting out into nature? Albuquerque has a great network of trails on the West Mesa, in the Rio Grande bosque, and along the Sandia foothills. Join the City of Albuquerque’s Esperanza bike crew for a fun and supportive two-part class that introduces you to the basics of this popular sport—including skills, gear, and safety. Mountain bike and helmet provided. This class is limited to six adults and participants must attend both sessions. Registration closes July 30 at 11:59 p.m. More details will be shared after registration.
Free, but registration is required at play.cabq.gov (Open Space → Public Programs → Adult Programs → Intro to the Outdoors)
