City Golf Course Fee Adjustment
Greens fees at City golf courses will increase $1 per round effective December 1, 2024. The change affects all City courses, including Los Altos, Arroyo del Oso, Puerto del Sol, and Ladera golf courses. Golfers are already being notified about this change as the information has been posted at all four courses.
City Council mandated this fee increase in legislation for the FY25 City budget (R-24-36). The City’s golf course greens fees have not increased since July 2019, when they also went up $1 per round. The $1 increase starting December 1 will generate approximately $220,000 per year in additional revenue into the General Fund.

“This small adjustment will support course maintenance but still keep the public courses as a great golf value,” said Parks & Recreation Department Director Dave Simon.
This fee increase will help offset rising expenses to operate the City’s golf courses, including cost increases for sand, seed, fertilizer, and fuel.
The City’s four golf courses still offer the most affordable rates in the Metro area. The courses are all open 364 days of the year, weather permitting.
