Senior Citizens' Law Office

Free legal services for Bernalillo County residents 60 and older in civil cases, including SSI, VA, and other government benefits issues, power of attorney, trusts, guadianship/conservatorship, grandparent adoptions, foreclosure, financial exploitation, landlord/tenant, public housing/Section 8, consumer matters, health-related issues and long term care, estate planning, and probate.


New Mexico Legal Aid

The intake line is open Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. (Mountain Time).


Lawyer Referral for the Elderly Program

Provides legal advice and information as well as referrals to attorneys or agencies by telphone to indiviuals age 55 and older.

Albuquerque Civil Justice Clinic for Veterans

Quarterly legal clinics. Free to all VA-enrolled veterans.

University of New Mexico School of Law Clinic

The School of Law accepts cases in limited legal categories annually. Call for more information.
