State Capital Outlay
Information about the New Mexico State Capital Outlay Program

State Capital Outlay
State Capital Outlay provides funding for public infrastructure and capital projects throughout New Mexico. Funding is appropriated by the New Mexico Legislature and Governor for specific projects and may support planning, design, construction, improvements, equipment, property acquisition, and other eligible capital expenses.
The City of Albuquerque Capital Implementation Program (CIP) administers State Capital Outlay appropriations awarded to the City and works with City departments, nonprofit organizations, community partners, and State agencies throughout the grant process.
Capital Outlay Through the City of Albuquerque
Capital Outlay appropriations administered by the City are subject to State and City requirements. An appropriation does not mean funding is immediately available for expenditure. Grant agreements, required approvals, and any applicable special conditions must be completed before funds can be accessed.
CIP assists with the administration of these appropriations from grant agreement execution through project completion and closeout.
