District 8 City Councilor and Council Vice President Dan Champine, the City of Albuquerque Parks and Recreation Department, and state legislators, will host a grand opening event for the newly renovated playground at Academy Hills Park. The event will feature a brief speaking program followed by the official opening of the play structures for neighborhood children and families. Light refreshments will be served.
