Upgrades include a new custom-designed playground with shaded play features, climbers, slides, swings; an ADA-accessible concrete ramp; better surfacing; new furnishings; and refreshed landscaping.

The renovations were funded through a $250,000 state capital outlay appropriation secured by Rep. Cynthia Borrego.

“Neighborhood parks are essential to the health our communities,” said Rep. Cynthia D. Borrego. “They bring people together and provide safe places for children to play, really enhancing quality of life.”The project included demolition of outdated playground equipment and removal of sand before installing a custom GameTime play structure with sun protection and other modern features.
