Adoption Event: Good Homes for Good Dogs
Ventana Salon Courtyard
In honor of the exhibition Good Dogs: Faithful Friends from the Collections in Gallery 3, join Animal Welfare for the first ever doggie adoption event to be held at the Albuquerque Museum. Learn how you can help support dogs in need, and potentially meet a new family member.

Conversations with Collections: Pets from the Photo Archives
Ventana Salon
The Photo Archives is celebrating examples of the cute, lovable, and sometimes unexpected pets that have been loyal companions to Albuquerque residents and the museum staff over the years. Stop by our table and tell us your pet stories and learn more about the Museum's Photo Archives and how it serves the public.
5:30–7:30pm
Music: Mala Maña
Amphitheatre
Immerse yourself in the music of Albuquerque’s all women’s voice and percussion ensemble Mala Maña, fusing folkloric and contemporary rhythms of Las Americas with original compositions, songs influenced by salsa, boleros, reggaeton, cumbia’s of Colombia and Mexico, and Afro Colombian rhythms of the Pacific coast.
7:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Sunset Yoga: Bliss in the City
Ventana Salon
Close out the evening with some sunset yoga led by Bliss in the City. Celebrate the end of our furry friend themed evening with a good downward dog.
Third Thursdays are made possible in part by The City of Albuquerque's Urban Enhancement Trust Fund and New Mexico Arts, a division of the New Mexico Office of Cultural Affairs.
