The art of tin foil embossing is a popular New Mexican heritage art expression. Learn the traditional art of tin embossing, known as “repujado”. In this workshop, participants will learn how to create intricate, raised designs on thin sheets of tin foil. By drawing patterns onto the tin and using an embossing tool, you’ll craft your own three-dimensional piece of art. Participants will have the opportunity to apply vibrant colors that highlight the cultural patterns characteristic of this art form.
