This year Route 66 turns 100! Albuquerque is home to its own piece of the iconic roadway and the neon shines bright here. Join educators from the NMMNHS at the Albuquerque Museum as we explore Route 66 and the neon lights that Albuquerque is known for through hands on activities designed for all ages.

Volcanoes, caverns, and mesas- oh my! Our state is a geologic marvel whose landscapes have captivated artists and scientists alike. Join educators from the NMMNHS at the Albuquerque Museum as we explore New Mexico’s geology from many different perspectives through hands on activities designed for creativity, curiosity, and discovery.
