This time we will be shining the spotlight on the women from our permanent collection who create abstract art. What characteristics make a piece of art abstract? We will  trace the journey from realism toward greater abstraction focusing on the work of Elaine de Kooning.  Museum Guide Sarah Geiger will take us on this journey that will also include artworks by Helen Hardin and Beatrice Mandelman, among others.
