Excess Emissions
Information about Excess Emissions.
An excess emission occurs when a regulated air pollutant is released into the environment at an amount that is above permitted limits for a facility. The Permittee is required to submit their excess emission report to the Air Quality Program pursuant to 20.11.49 NMAC.
