January 16, 2019

Today, MovieMaker Magazine released their top places to live and work as a moviemaker and Albuquerque is number one on the list.  Albuquerque has attracted over 50 major productions in the last three years and Mayor Tim Keller has doubled down on the industry with recent announcements of Netflix locating their production hub here, as well as the city’s partnership with CNM to relocate their film production school to the Rail Yards.

“Bringing Netflix to Albuquerque was a game changer for our city and for the film industry,” stated Mayor Tim Keller.  “We have also announced our new partnership with CNM to relocate their film production school to the Railyards, further accelerating production jobs for the industry, right here in the heart of our city.  We know Albuquerque is a one of a kind place to live and work and this new ranking just affirms that.”
