Description
Spring Break Family Day at the Balloon Museum is a great time to learn about flight; from the balloons that fill Albuquerque's skies to the kites that dance in the spring winds!
Schedule of Events
9:30 - 10 a.m. - Stories in the Sky with special guests, live music Sage Harrington Duo mixed with stories by Laurie Magovern.
11 - 11:45 a.m. Sage Harrington Duo- children singer/songwriter with guitar and ukulele.
12 - 1 p.m. - New Mexican Marimba Band
1 - 1:30 p.m. - Wings of Enchantment - Butterfly presentation
All-Day Activities
- Hands-on balloon education with Balloon Explorium, Inc.
- Hands-on art
- Butterfly Demonstrations with Wings of Enchantment
- Weather scavenger hunt around museum (weather permitting).
- Bubbles and Parachute Games (weather permitting)
- Kite and Remote Controlled Hot-Air Balloon Demonstrations that reach twenty feet in the air (weather permitting).
- Mobile Food Truck - Conchita's Creations provide handmade NM breakfast, lunch and snack options.
