Trash, Recycling, and Large Items Will be Collected on Independence Day Holiday

The City’s Solid Waste Management Department will collect trash, recycling, and large items on Independence Day, observed on Monday, July 5. Residential customers who are regularly serviced on Mondays should put their trash and recycling at the curb for collection. Any large items scheduled for Monday residential customers through 311 will also be collected.
All three convenience centers, Montessa Park, Don Reservoir, and Eagle Rock will be open and in full operation from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, July 4 and Monday, July 5. The Cerro Colorado Landfill will also be open and in full operation from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, July 4 and Monday, July 5.

The main administrative office at 4600 Edith NE will be closed on Monday, July 5 and will reopen on Tuesday, July 6.
ACT (household hazardous waste) at 6137 Edith NE will be closed on Monday, July 5 and will reopen on Wednesday, July 7.
