Rapid Hire events pave the way to an exciting and fulfilling career with the City.

ALBUQUERQUE: In efforts to continue preserving a cleaner and more beautiful community, the City of Albuquerque officially launched a series of Rapid Hire Events today. Starting this morning and continuing every other Thursday through September, the department will open its doors to those seeking a rewarding career with competitive pay and exceptional benefits. Each event will provide job seekers with guidance and the tools needed to complete their application and begin the hiring process.

“Our Rapid Hire Events are designed to remove barriers for potential job candidates and provide them with the assistance needed to begin a career with the City of Albuquerque,” said Solid Waste Management Department Director Billy Gallegos. “Building a strong and resilient workforce is crucial in our mission to maintain a clean and healthy environment for Albuquerque families.”

With a wide array of available positions, individuals will have access to resume coaching, application assistance, and interview prep from on-site human resources staff. To ensure a seamless process, applicants are encouraged to bring a valid driver’s license and proof of their highest level of education.

“By investing in our workforce, we are also investing in a clean future for Albuquerque families,” said Mayor Tim Keller. “We are working directly with potential candidates to find the next generation public servants who are dedicated to keeping our community beautiful.”

Each bi-weekly event will be held from 9AM to 12 PM at the main Solid Waste Management Department Facility located at 4600 Edith Boulevard NW.
