Eggs 'N Beggin PET-ACULAR

Hop on over to the Rio Rancho event for a tail-wagging good time! Enjoy a pet-friendly Easter egg hunt, adorable costume contest, photo-worthy moments, and the chance to meet your new best friend through pet adoption.

  • All participants must have proof of vaccinations (required shots: Rabies, Bordetella, and DHLPP or DHPP). 
  • All pets must be kept on a leash throughout the event.
  • Food trucks and vendors will be on-site.
  • No admission fee for shoppers. On-site registration only for pet Easter egg hunt and costume contest - $5 per pet (cash).

The Animal Welfare Department is bringing the Lucky Paws Adoption Van packed with dogs of every kind, size, and color. If you’ve been looking for a companion pet, this is the place to be.

Adoption fee is $30 or $25 depending on age.
Every adoption includes:

  • Spay or neuter surgery
  • Vaccinations
  • A free custom pet tag
  • A microchip
  • One free day of basic dog training

Mark your calendar. These pets are ready and waiting for a loving forever home. They’ll be looking for you.
