Live costume contests start at 2:30 p.m., $5 entry fee (suggested donation), benefits the non profit groups in attendance.
The top 3 winner in each of the 8 contest categories will receive a gift certificate to Boofy's ($50, $30, or $20):
- Big Dog
- Medium Dog
- Small Dog
- Cats and Other Non-Dog Critters,
- Human Child,
- Human Adult,
- Dynamic Duo,
- Family/Group Theme.
The family-friendly event will have trick-or-treating for kids and pets, adoptable pets, vendors, pet photos , prizes, giveaways and lots of fun!
If you are looking for a pet to add to your family, this would be a great time to find your new addition. Animal Welfare Department (AWD) is sending the Lucky Paws Adoption van with dogs of every kind and color.
The adoption fee is waived for all pets. Each adoption will include spay or neuter, vaccinations, free custom pet tag and a microchip. AWD is also offering one day of free basic dog training with every adoption.
Mark your calendar because these pets need a loving forever home. They will be looking for you.
