Description
The Animal Welfare Department (AWD) will host its first annual Bow Wow Bingo fundraiser on Saturday, March 28, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Main Library, 501 Copper Ave NW, with free parking at the Arts Garage. (5th & Copper)
This upbeat community gathering will raise money for the Angel Fund, a life-saving program that provides specialized medical care exclusively to shelter animals who require treatment beyond what the shelter clinic can provide.
Guests can enjoy several rounds of friendly bingo competition while playing for an exciting lineup of prizes generously donated by Albuquerque businesses: entertainment experiences, restaurant offerings, sports and arts items, and high-end pet products as well as a one-night stay at the Marriott, including breakfast. The grand finale prize is a breathtaking two-person Rainbow Ryders balloon ride.
Tickets are $30 and include admission plus two bingo cards, with extra cards and daubers available for purchase at the door. Seating is limited to 100 guests, so attendees are encouraged to arrive early.
Snacks will be available for purchase, with all proceeds going directly to support AWD programs.
Every bingo card sold helps shelter animals with complex or urgent medical needs. Without the Angel Fund, many of these critical services would not be possible.
Bow Wow Bingo promises a day filled with fun, prizes, and purpose as Albuquerque rallies together to help shelter animals in need. Make a difference one bingo card at a time.
