Saving Kittens Workshop

The Saving Kittens workshop teaches community members of all levels about kitten welfare and foster care. Attendees gain an understanding of the issues impacting kittens, learn the fundamentals of caring for kittens 0-8 weeks of age, and become empowered to play a role in saving their lives. This class includes information on kitten development, assessing health, monitoring stool and urine, bottle feeding, kitten-led weaning, behavior and socialization, and more.

12:00 PM - 12:30 PM

Meet and Greet with Hannah

Hannah Shaw is a New York Times bestselling author with books including: Tiny But Mighty, Cats of the World and Kitten Lady's Big Book of Kittens. We are limiting the number of people to 30. You must sign up.

1:30 PM - 4:30 PM

Advanced Neonate Workshop

For experienced neonatal kitten caregivers, who are ready to advance their skillsets. Advanced trainings cover the care of the most fragile neonates, diving deep into the disease processes that lead to the decline of kitten health, and providing intensive training on supportive care skills like subcutaneous fluids and tube feeding for neonates. Attendees will take notes, participate in discussions, ask questions, answer pop quizzes, and find the confidence to save the most vulnerable kittens.

Frequently asked questions

Can I bring my children?

Children are welcome to the Saving Kittens Workshop, with paid ticket. However, the Advanced Neonate Workshop may be a little too "real" for children, so we do not allow them to participate in this workshop.
