Street Improvement
Councilor Rogers is focused on improving pedestrian and bike safety in district 6 neighborhoods, especially along the Central corridor, which is listed as the most deadly road for pedestrians in the entire Country. The Councilor will always prioritize people over cars.

Councilor Rogers announces the following street improvement and traffic calming projects beginning in 2025.
- Ortiz Dr. – Install 3 speed humps and associated signage between Southern Ave and Bell Ave – estimated cost is $35k
- General Stillwell – Install 3 speed humps and associated signage between Chico and Copper – estimated cost is $35k
- Trumbull Ave - install 7 speed cushions and associated signage between Valverde Dr and San Mateo Blvd - estimated cost is $75k.
I-25 S-Curve Road Project https://www.i25scurve.com/
The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT), in cooperation with the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), is conducting a Phase 1B Study along I-25 in the S-Curve area in Albuquerque to explore a transportation solution to improve safety and mobility between Avenida Cesar Chavez (Exit 223) and Lomas Boulevard (Exit 225).
