City Councilor Joaquín Baca Celebrates Opening of Grand Summit Recovery and Workforce Location in District 2
Grand Summit Recovery and Workforce expands to deliver needed clinical care and services for area residents and clients.
ALBUQUERQUE, NM – City Councilor Joaquín Baca is pleased to announce the grand opening of the newest Grand Summit Recovery and Workforce facility, located at 1315 Menaul Blvd. This expansion marks a significant investment in the health, stability, and economic vitality of Albuquerque, offering critical resources to those working toward recovery and self-sufficiency.
The grand opening brings together local leaders and the organization’s executive leadership team, including President and Owner Dr. Hosai Ehsan, Chief Operating Officer and Owner Michael Ehsan, and Chief Financial Officer and Owner Dr. Bakhtar Ehsan. Also recognized for his leadership is Chief Executive Officer and Owner Frank Amini, who is currently traveling.
Grand Summit Recovery is a community-focused behavioral health and recovery organization dedicated to transforming lives through compassionate, evidence-based care. The new facility will provide a comprehensive suite of services, including substance use treatment, behavioral health support, housing assistance, and peer support.

The expansion is also made possible through the collaboration of instrumental community allies. The organization wishes to extend a special recognition to two valued partners: Mr. Robert Baade from Southwest Educational Partners for Training (SWEPT) for his steadfast partnership and support, and former State Senator Gerald "Jerry" Ortiz y Pino, for believing in this mission and supporting the organization's growth along the way.
Beyond clinical care, this location serves as a hub for long-term empowerment. By integrating workforce development, life skills training, and job readiness programs, the organization aims to help individuals break the cycles of generational addiction and poverty.
