Public Comment: To provide public comments, in person or virtually, everyone must sign up by 5:00 p.m. If you do not have internet service, you may call our office at (505) 768-1915 for assistance at least two hours prior to the meeting.
The Board will take general public comment on any topic, and on specific agenda items, on a first-come, first-serve basis. Commenters will be called in the order they signed up. Time starts when you start speaking. Each commenter will have a maximum of 5 minutes, but the time limit can be modified at the discretion of the Board chair. Additionally, comments can be emailed to [email protected] up to 2 hours before the meeting.

VI. CLOSED SESSION
The Board will consider whether or not to go into closed session with the Board Attorney to discuss pending litigation:

- The board will make a motion, with reasonable specificity, and vote whether or not to go into closed session following procedures in Section 10-15-1 (I) of the OMA.
- If there is a closed session, the Board will announce what was discussed and will make any motions based on the closed session discussion. Topics discussed during a closed session are limited to those expressly excepted from the open meeting requirements in Section 10-15-1 (H).
