Air Care Inspector Recertification: Application & Quiz.

Existing Air Care Inspectors should complete the Recertification process to renew their credential:

Step 1: Inspector will go to Air Care Inspector Recertification Application & Quiz (on computer, tablet or smartphone) to complete the online application/training module.

Step 2: Once complete with Step 1, Inspector will visit VPMD to perform Overt Audit and complete the recertification process.

Please note the following about Air Care Inspector Recertification:

  • This system is accessible to anyone, but for your Recertification Application & Quiz to be valid, you must be a currently certified Air Care Inspector within 60 days of expiration and no more than 90 days past expiration.
  • If you are more than 90 days (3 months) past your expiration, you must complete the Initial training over again – see the Become an Air Care Inspector section below.
  • At the end of the Recertification Application & Quiz, you’ll receive a link to schedule an in-person appointment at VPMD. You must schedule this in advance; walk-ins are not accepted.
  • VPMD has a computer workstation onsite that can be used to complete the Recertification Application & Quiz, for individuals that do not have computer access.
