Artist Evelyn Rosenberg invented a remarkable technique to make sculpture by forming metal with plastic explosives. Working in the New Mexico desert, near where the first atomic bomb was tested at the Trinity Site, she transforms powerful weapons of destruction into tools of creation.
Admission is $4 for adults and teens 13-64, $3 for NM residents, $2 for seniors 65+, $1 for children 4-12, and free for Museum Members and children 0-3. Admission is also free on Saturdays from 2-5 pm, Sundays from 9 am-1 pm, and the first Wednesday of every month.
