CABQ and State Treasurer Laura M. Montoya, CABQ to Host Financial Empowerment Summit in Albuquerque

Santa Fe, NM – The New Mexico State Treasurer’s Office, in partnership and collaboration with the City of Albuquerque Office of Financial Empowerment, BankOn Burque, The Education Plan (529), and the Public Employees Retirement Association of New Mexico (PERA) SmartSave Deferred Compensation Plan, is thrilled to announce the continuation of its Financial Empowerment Summit event series.

Notice of Public Meeting: Boundary Committee Public Meeting, Dec. 4

The goals of the committee are to provide a forum to discuss complex boundary issues City/County boundary areas and to: 1. Study and advice member agencies on best practices to provide effective services 2. Receive new testimony from residents of the boundary areas as to how infrastructure deficiencies and service delivery issues impact homes, neighborhoods and businesses 3. Propose plans and processes to improve infrastructure and service delivery 4. Evaluate and recommend areas for possible land swaps and annexations to improve service
