Multiple celebrations planned in recognition of the contributions and influence of Hispanic Americans
September 06, 2023

Hispanic Heritage Month is observed nationally from September 15th to October 15th. Here in Albuquerque, there are plenty of festivities and fun the whole family can join in on happening across the metro. This is also a time to celebrate the diverse cultures within the Hispanic community, and honor the City and State’s Hispanic roots, and founding.

“Hispanic Heritage Month brings us all together and unites us as we celebrate our history and share our culture with others” said Beatriz Valencia, Office of Immigrant and Refugee Affairs Liaison. “In my capacity with the City, I help co-organize events for the Hispanic community and ensure they have a voice in city government.
