Through the City of Albuquerque’s P.A.T.H. program, you will achieve long-term recovery from addiction. Our network of partners offer a complete addiction treatment program designed to each individual's specific needs. Begin to see results, start feeling better and take control of your life today. The City of Albuquerque funds substance use disorder treatment for individuals meeting the following criteria: • Actively in need of substance use disorder treatment • Not currently receiving Medicaid full benefits • Not receiving substance use treatment through other funding sources • Considered very low income according to the federal HUD guidelines (see back) • Be a resident of the City of Albuquerque/Bernalillo County • If a client has commercial insurance that covers the cost of Behavioral Health Services, they are eligible for a voucher IF the deductible is greater than $2,800.00 OR the co-pay is $35 or higher, and they meet other established criteria. Next steps down the P.A.T.H. of recovery. Potential clients make an appointment for a substance use disorder assessment directly with one of the City’s treatment providers. After conducting the assessment, the provider informs the client if they are in need of treatment and will schedule the client to begin services.
