Small Business Fair to Connect Entrepreneurs With Tools for Growth
More than 30 organizations will be on hand offering expert advice
ALBUQUERQUE – The City of Albuquerque’s Small Business Office and Job Training Albuquerque are teaming up to host a Small Business Resource Fair connecting attendees with over 30 organizations dedicated to helping people start and grow their businesses. Representatives from City departments, lenders, marketing agencies, and more will offer resources, funding opportunities, and expert guidance.
This month’s fair will spotlight free training opportunities that help residents and the owners and employees of small businesses build in-demand skills. Attendees can learn about Job Training Albuquerque, which offers more than 150 industry-specific training programs at no cost, and Get Certified ABQ, a program providing free Google Career Certificate training.
Staff will also be on hand to answer questions about the City’s Window Repair Grant, which helps local businesses fix windows damaged by vandalism.
“Albuquerque’s small businesses are the heart of our local economy, and we’re committed to helping them succeed,” said Mayor Tim Keller. “This Resource Fair is about making sure entrepreneurs, whether just starting out or looking to grow, have the tools, training, and connections they need to thrive.”
