On February 8, 2024, the CPOAB approved the formation of an Ad hoc Committee tasked with developing the Board's policies and procedures in consultation with the Executive Director. The City Council subsequently approved these policies and procedures and enacted them on October 21, 2024, in accordance with the Civilian Police Oversight Ordinance.
