Albuquerque City Council Returns to Hybrid Meeting Format

August 15, 2022, City Council Meeting will be hybrid with in-person and virtual attendance for public.

The Albuquerque City Council will be returning to a hybrid meeting format for the City Council Meeting on Monday, August 15, 2022, at 5:00 PM. Members of the public will be able to participate and observe the meeting in the Council Chambers and virtually on Zoom.

Following Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) advice for public gatherings in Bernalillo County, we are encouraging members of the public that attend the meeting to please wear a mask inside the Vincent E. Griego Chambers.

The agenda for the meeting will be posted on the City Council website on Friday, August 12 at https://cabq.legistar.com/Calendar.aspx.

Public Comment: The Council will take general public comment and comment on the meeting’s specific agenda items in-person in the Vincent E. Griego Chambers and virtually on Zoom. Council Staff will only be accepting public comment sign-ups through the City Council website via this link: https://www.cabq.gov/council/find-your-councilor/public-comments, through 4:00 PM on Monday, August 15. Staff will not be accepting public comment sign-ups in Chambers, all sign-ups must be done online, before the 4:00 PM deadline.

For members of the public without internet service, please call our office at 505-768-3100. Participants will have the ability to select if they require Spanish language interpretation when signing up.

Viewing: Members of the public have the ability to view the meeting through GOVTV on Comcast Channel 16, stream live on the GOVTV website at: https://www.cabq.gov/artsculture/govtv, on Zoom Webinar, and on YouTube at: https://youtu.be/6SiwJqSKOOQ. The GOVTV live stream can be accessed at these addresses from most smartphones, tablets, or computers.

The video recording of this and all past meetings of the City Council will also remain available for viewing at any time on the City’s website.
